The Assembly Rooms have been at the heart of the city’s social life since the 18th century. The spectacular Ball Room is the largest Georgian interior in the city. Linking the Ball Room to the elegant Tea Room is the Great Octagon, furnished with paintings by Gainsborough and Hoare.
The Assembly Rooms has a marriage license for Civil Weddings and Partnership Ceremonies so everything can be held under one roof if you wish. The Assembly Rooms is certainly an inspiring venue that has everything you need to make your special day a truly memorable occasion.
Our Head Chef, Mark Pearson and his team take great pride in producing food of an exceptionally high quality for you and your guests. Together they have created a selection of dishes with the emphasis on careful seasoning, subtle flavours and simple garnishes. For weddings taking place at the Assembly Rooms or Roman Baths & Pump Room during May 2013 we are offering a huge 20% discount on our standard room hire rates. Our caterers Searcys are also offering a specially reduced menu package. Their Style package which normally costs £55 per person + VAT has been reduced to just £49.50 per person plus VAT.
The package includes:
• House wine and non-alcoholic cocktail reception with Japanese wasabi mix, roasted nuts, sun dried tomato and feta stuffed olives and root vegetable crisps (2 glasses per person)
