The Orangery with its private entrance and terrace overlooking the Italian Gardens provides a stunning daytime and evening venue. Striking for its glass ceiling, The Orangery was created in the late 1700s by the 4th Duke and was used to grow orange trees. This light and spacious room exudes timeless elegance from the moment you reach its pillared entrance. The Orangery can seat up to 230 guests for a wedding breakfast and is available for exclusive use for the whole day and evening up to midnight.
The Marlborough Room, originally the Palace kitchen, is a classically beautiful room with a double vaulted ceiling reaching the full height of the Palace. With two stunning chandeliers and a grand fireplace, this room is the perfect place to hold your civil marriage ceremony, or smaller more intimate celebration with guests dining together around one large table.
The Great Hall, Saloon and Long Library provide a palatial setting and a spectacular evening reception venue. Lavishly decorated, these State Rooms house treasures collected by the Marlborough family over the past 300 years. As the finest rooms at the Palace your guests will be awe-inspired by the grandeur of the occasion. Accommodating 30 or 300 guests there is no set formula for a wedding occasion in the Palace and your special day can be tailored to suit your requirements.
