The 80-seat restaurant has quickly established itself as one of the capital's most sought after dining areas, set 92 feet above ground level on the third floor of the Gallery's Ondaatje wing.
Sleek and stylish with modern décor and wooden floors, the restaurant's most striking feature is a stunning wall of windows where diners can enjoy the views of some of London's fantastic landmarks and building. Views across Whitehall to the Houses of Parliament, London Eye, Big Ben and of course Nelson's Column.
And the food – now this is also a masterpiece, beautifully crafted by our very own chief culinary artist, head chef Katarina Todosijevic. Swedish born Katarina has worked for several prestigious Searcys’ outlets & joined us at The Portrait Restaurant in October 2005. Her previous experience was with the Conran Group.
Stunning views, contemporary setting, art in abundance and food to grace the best restaurants in London – worth a view.
