LORRAINE O'SULLIVAN - GROUP HEALTH & FOOD SAFETY MANAGER

Lorraine’s catering career began with The Moving Venue Caterers. She joined Searcys in 2002 as Commercial Manager of X-est Ltd, Searcy's contract within the the Earls Court and Olympia venues. In 2003, she was promoted to Head Office to concentrate on her specialism - Food Safety and Health and Safety for the Searcys Group.

Lorraine is a member of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health and the Royal Society of Public Health. Lorraine is responsible for the development and implementation of Policy and company compliance to associated legislation.

She is a key member of the Chef's Innovation Group, driving forward the Searcys Food Provenance programme. As a qualified CIEH Trainer, she delivers in-house Food Safety and Health & Safety training for Searcys staff. Lorraine is actively involved with the development of food safety within the industry and was a judge at the 2006 Parade des Chefs, Salon Culinaire at Hotelympia.

Lorraine feels passionate about CSR and is a member of the Searcy CSR Focus and Development Group; in addition she is a member of the Corporation of London's Fairtrade Steering Group whose recent success has been its achievement of Fairtrade status.
