We are at the forefront of the service industry (we prefer to call it the entertainment industry) and so we need experienced teams of people to deliver fantastic experiences at each of the iconic venues that we run. The fantastic breadth and depth of venues that we operate at means each business has different people needs – we do not operate a ‘one size fits all’ policy. On the contrary.

We also believe passionately in growing our teams from within. We want people who are passionate about giving consumers the best food and beverage experiences imaginable.

Searcys 1847 (or to give its full business name, Searcy Tansley & Co Ltd) is a privately owned, quality driven, 5 star catering company that has been trading since 1847. Our origins may lie in event and outdoor catering, however over time our focus has changed. We now work predominantly in the following sectors:

1. Arts, Cultural and Retail based Contracts
2. Commercial Contracts
3. Business and Industry

We enjoy working with clients to whom we can offer a wide variety of products, based on innovative ideas underpinned by quality, variety, innovation and high standards.
Searcys operates from some of Britain's most prestigious venues, creating critically acclaimed culinary experiences in stunning surroundings.

The contracts are diverse, as are the services provided, they include restaurants, bars, cafes, banqueting and boardroom dining both in the Retail and Business and Industry sectors.

Our places offer an enviable and diverse portfolio. We operate within private members clubs, arts spaces and corporate head offices. Some have historic values but many are notable examples of modern design.

Whilst each division has unique qualities, we strive to share ideas, staff, menus and experiences across the group.
